Long Tone Übungen mit dem Real Book
Nachdem das lange Aushalten von Tönen essentiell für Ansatzbildung, Luftstrom-Führung, Tonbildung als auch Stimmung des Tons ist, kann man diesbezügliche tägliche Übungen mit Melodien von Jazz Standards umsetzen.
Die unten angeführten Standards sind für fortgeschrittene Spieler mit den Original- bzw. vorgeschlagenen Aufnahmen umsetzbar,
für Anfänger empfehle ich auf jeden Fall das Verlangsamen der Originalaufnahme bzw. Üben mit langsamer iRealPro Begleitung oder Ähnlichem.

Das Original Tempo der Standards ist für die Übung irrelevant, um den maximalen Übungseffekt der Long-Tones rauszuholen, würde ich sämtliche der unten angeführten Standards in einem langsamen Tempo empfehlen. Fast alle der gelisteten Songs sind im alten Real Book 1 & 2 zu finden. Die Interpreten und Alben daneben sind Hörvorschläge.
